Come già visto nell'articolo 'Arch Curriculum Vitae' , è fondamentale per gli architetti presentare alle selezioni un C.V. che sia incentrato sulla componente grafica oltre che su quella scritta. Non si tratta di una velleità artistica ( "Sono un architetto e mi piace disegnare" ) ma di una vera e propria strategia per promuovere se stessi: immagini e grafica rendono un curriculum più 'friendly' e l'originalità lo farà emergere in mezzo agli altri Europass perché non c’è mai una seconda possibilità per fare una buona prima impressione'.
Resta ora da chiederci come costruire praticamente un Arch C.V.

Volendo si può utilizzare l'infografica, una tecnica che visualizza alcune informazioni attraverso delle immagini.
Sul web sono presenti numerose risorse per trasformare il proprio C.V. in un infografica:
- Vizualize.me è il sito web per eccellenza che trasforma il profilo di LinkedIn in un curriculum infografico. Ci si può iscrivere o effettuare il log in direttamente con il nostro profilo. L'applicazione schematizzerà le informazioni presenti su LinkedIn in pochi click. Si possono scegliere stili e colori ed aggiungere un portfolio coordinato.
- Cvgram.me, sito nuovissimo, permette di creare un C.V. sincronizzato con il profilo LinkedIn o attraverso l'inserimento manuale di tutte le informazioni. La grafica è molto interessante e di ispirazione un po' pop. Si possono inserire o eclissare i contenuti in modo da creare C.V. ad hoc. Non è possibile cambiare completamente lo stile ma si possono convertire i colori. A questo link trovate il C.V. del fondatore del sito per farvi un'idea.
- Kinzaa promette di creare il vostro nuovo C.V. in soli 3 minuti. Il documento che creerete sarà un ibrido fra grafica e testo. E' ideale se siete ancora un po' legati al curriculum testuale.
- Mysocialstrand sempre più spesso il C.V. non contiene solo le informazioni riguardanti la nostra vita lavorativa e le nostre esperienze formative. My social strand permette di creare un C.V. alternativo attraverso le informazioni contenute su Facebbok.
Se non vi accontentate di 'prodotti' un po' standardizzati provate voi stessi a costruire un'infografica per il vostro C.V. Tenete presenti le due componenti dell'infografica:
- Info: in primis le informazioni contenute all'interno del C.V. devono essere veritiere e non (troppo!) gonfiate: è inutile millantare un'ottima conoscenza del russo se avete problemi anche con la grammatica italiana, e se non avete ancora sperimentato v-ray non dichiaratevi un mago dei render. Prima di procedere alla graficizzazione, decidete quali contenuti volete inserire e fatevi una prima idea su quali conoscenze o esperienze volete mettere in risalto.
- Grafica: l'immagine che dovete creare deve essere accattivante. Chi la vede per la prima volta deve essere invogliato a leggere le informazioni che vi sono contenute. Non limitatevi a istogrammi e diagrammi a torte, ma sperimentate nuovi modi per rappresentare le vostre conoscenze. Fate attenzione, però, a non esagerare e 'ingolfare' troppo il curriculum. Una buona infografica è prima di tutto un'infografica chiara.
Ricordate di condensate tutte le informazioni in un'unica pagina. "Unica pagina" non vuol dire che dobbiate per forza usare un A4 verticale, ma potete piegarlo, rovesciarlo o tagliuzzarlo o addirittura usare altri formati.

only on a written part, but also on a graphic part. But pay attention:
it’s not a simple whim of a would-be artist (“ I’am an architect, and I really
like drawing”); on the contrary it’s a real strategy to advertise yourself:
images and graphics will make your curriculum more 'friendly' and thanks to its
oddity you will be sure that it will stand out among the other Europasses,
because there won’t be a second chance to make a good
impression.

the most esteemed website which converts the LinkedIn profile into an
infographic curriculum. We can sign up or
log in directly with our profile. The app will sketch the LinkedIn info in
a few passages. You can choose different styles and colours, adding also a
matching portfolio.
- Cvgram.me, a
brand-new site, let you to create a CV synchronized with your LinkedIn
profile or simply inserting all your information by typing them. The
graphics is really interesting and seems to draw inspiration more or less from
Pop Art. You can also put in or hide contents, so that your CV will be an
ad hoc CV. Moreover you can’t change completely the style, but what you
can do is modifying the colours. Clicking on this link you will find the CV of the

the almost standardized “products” are
not enough, you can try to set up
infographics by yourself, in order to create your own CV converter. You
have to consider the two peculiarities of infographics:
- Info:
first of all, the info in your CV must be real, true, and not too much blown up; it’s completely useless if
you boast of speaking Russian quite well, but you do have problems also
with your mother tongue grammar. Moreover,
if you haven’t already tested v-ray, do not label yourself as a render
master. Before going on to the graphic step, you have to decide which
contents to put in and make sure to have an idea about which
skills and competences you would like to underline.
- Graphics:
the image you have to set up must be charming. Those who see
your CV for the first time, have to be lured to read the info in it. Do
not restrict your CV only to histograms and pie charts. On the contrary, do
try new ways to represent your knowledge. On the other hand, pay
attention not to exaggerate and not to “engulf” your CV too much. A
good infographics is, first of all, a clear one.
Don’t
forget to put all the info on a single page. A "single page" doesn’t
mean you must use a vertical A4, but you can bend, reverse or snip it or even
choose different sizes.
